Believe it or not, we actually tried both of the new recipes last week! The minestrone soup was OK, and I probably won’t make it again. The pasta got really mushy, which may have been my fault, but I don’t seem to be having much luck with pasta in soups lately. However, we enjoyed the brat skewers. I used half of the amount of bourbon, and it added just the right amount of flavor in our opinion. We will have the pineapple fried rice this week, as we didn’t get to it last week. And my husband is craving Honeymoon Pizza– maybe because we attended a beautiful wedding last week! 😉
