Southwestern Spiced Nuts are a quick way to dress up plain mixed nuts. They are a little bit spicy and a little bit sweet, and great for snacking or parties.
Here is what you need… A few different spices, some butter, a little sugar, and a lot of nuts!
In a medium sized bowl, mix the nuts and the butter until nuts are well coated. They will look nice and glossy.
Mix together the spices and sprinkle over nuts. Stir, then spread them in a single layer in a sheet cake pan.
Bake the nuts until they are toasted, about 10 minutes. Return them to the bowl and toss with sugar.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 weeks.
