With bacon and cheese wrapped up in a flaky crescent roll crust, and just the right amount of zip from fresh jalapenos, these Mini Jalapeno Bacon Pinwheels are a fun twist to add to your table. The poppable bites are perfect as an appetizer or even a quick snack. I think your family and friends will think they are yummy, or as my son said, “SUPER yum!”
Here is what you need… You can use the regular crescent rolls (just press the seams together) or these handy recipe-ready sheets.
Unroll the crescent dough. Cut it lengthwise into 2 long rectangles. Press each into 12×4-inch rectangle.
In a medium bowl, combine cheeses and jalapeno.
Spread the cheese mixture over the dough. This is a perfect task for little ones to help with!
Sprinkle with bacon. Starting with one long side, roll up each rectangle; press edge to seal.
With a serrated knife (or dental floss), cut each roll into 1” slices. Place with cut sides down on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake until the edges are golden brown. Immediately remove from the cookie sheet. Serve warm, with ranch dip on the side if desired.

These are very good & will go well with a simple soup supper — maybe tomato.
That’s a great idea… Yum!
