How’s the weather where you are? It has been unseasonably cool here! Rather than feeling like the end of July, it feels like September! It has been a really nice preview of the fall, and I felt like I could turn on the oven again 🙂 The only thing that could make it better would be some more rain for our vineyard and garden.
Last week‘s new recipes were pretty good! We didn’t get to the patty melts (we had dinner out on a whim!), so I am hoping to try them this week. The salad and couscous were really good, and the casserole was OK. I felt like the casserole was missing something, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. This week, my husband is substituting for another night class twice, so I’m keeping dinner for those nights quick and easy to put together with two kids that like to “help” 😉
