Since I’ve been trying new recipes a lot, I have been finding it helpful to review them in my menu plan for the next week. This way, I will remember whether or not to make them again!. Last week I tried a few new recipes… The two new chicken dishes (Mexican Chicken Casserole and Chicken Lo Mein) were a hit! The lasagna roll ups were good, but definitely more work than regular lasagna. The pinwheels were OK, but I probably won’t make them again. I also made the peasant bread, and it was really good fresh out of the oven. It kept OK for a few days, and I froze one of the loaves, so we’ll see how that works out!
This week, I am going to take pretzels to a girl’s night, so I’ll make some pretzel dogs for my family’s dinner while I’m at it. I am also very much in the mood for soup, so I picked three to make this week. I generally make some kind of muffin or bread to serve with soup, but I’m curious… What are your favorite sides to serve with soup?
