We actually did a really good job sticking to our menu plan last week. There was only one meal which we missed (Swiss steak) because something came up and we weren’t at home until about 2 hours before dinner time (too short for a slow-cooked meal!). So, that’s on the menu plan early this week, as I had already thawed the steak.
We are having a little Christmas get-together, so I am excited to start some Christmas baking!!

What’s on your menu plan this week?
[…] Last week we stuck to our menu plan 100%! The 3 new recipes that I tried were mostly good. The sweet and sour chicken I will probably make again, but keep a closer eye on in the oven. The sauce caramelized on me, and not in a good way! I think if I would have taken it out just a little sooner (or added the sauce later in the oven). We didn’t really care for the stromboli, as the dough around the filling was kind of soggy. The ravioli was just OK, and I might make it again if I have extra ravioli for some reason. […]
