I am loving having a weekly menu plan! Last week’s went pretty well. However, I did make one exception… We had Chinese takeout one night, for my husband’s birthday 🙂
I also had time to make some vanilla scones with my son on Saturday morning (see the pic I posted on Facebook)! My husband mentioned to me earlier in the week that he had been craving some vanilla scones, and Saturday morning ended up being the perfect time to bake with my son. He had so much fun putting the triangle-shaped pieces of dough on the cookie sheets. I had to help him re-arrange a little, though, since they don’t tend to bake very well when placed on top of each other!
This week, I will be traveling a little bit for work and a little bit for family visits. We still have some leftovers to finish up from meals I made late last week, so we’ll polish those off and eat a little more of what we have on hand. I need to buy some fresh bananas for my daughter, but other than that, I hope to not spend any money on groceries this week!
