It’s not very often that a cocktail is mixed up in our house. After all, it’s my cousin, Mark, who is the cocktail expert in my extended family. By the way, he has a fabulous cocktail blog which you should definitely check out. Anyway, every now and then, my husband feels like making something a little extra special.
Enter “Raspberry Splash on the Rocks”.
- Gin, Berry Juice, Raspberries, 1/2 lime, ice, water
- Start with the gin. Use a good, quality gin like Hendrick’s.
- This is about 2 ounces on ice.
- Squeeze the 1/2 lime into the glass.
- Add the berries.
- Muddle the berries with the gin & lime. Basically, that means smush it all together.
- Almost there!
- Add the berry juice. We like Juicy Juice!
- Add water, if desired. Or just start with more ice, and wait a bit for some to melt.
- Delicious!
